7th International Poster Biennial Lublin (IPBL) 2025
The 7th International Poster Biennial Lublin (IPBL) 2025 is calling for entries to its poster exhibition competition.
The aim of the 7th International Poster Biennale Lublin (IPBL) 2025 is to review poster art from 2023 to 2025.
A total of 20,000 PLN (~4,720 Euro) will be awarded. Selected posters will be exhibited from 27 June 2025 to 17 September 2025 at the Center for the Meeting of Cultures in Lublin.
IPBL 2025 includes 5 competition categories:
- Open Theme, Professional Artists — This category is aimed at professional designers and artists, offering complete thematic and technical freedom.
- The organizers seek bold, innovative works that push the boundaries of the poster medium.
- Open Theme, Students — A space for young talents – students of art schools and design programmes.
- The organizers expect fresh perspectives, experimentation and unconventional approaches to design.
- TXT+EXPERIMENT – Typographic Poster Category — The category is open to all participants and is focused on exploring typography as the main means of expression.
- The organizers seek projects that creatively use letters, words and text, experimenting with their form and meaning.
- Krosno Design Festival — Category open to all participants.
- Design a promotional poster for Krosno Design Festival – an event combining craft tradition with modern design.
- Translacore — Category open to all participants.
- Design a promotional poster for Translacore — a consortium of European universities conducting research on fundamental scientific discoveries in the field of protein synthesis for medical applications, particularly focused on developing new anti-cancer therapies.
The International Poster Biennial in Lublin is an event of exceptional significance for the world of visual arts, which has successfully promoted contemporary poster art for years. The organizers focus on discovering new directions and trends in graphic design whilst celebrating the diversity of forms and means of expression characteristic of contemporary posters.
The Biennial serves as a platform for dialogue between different generations of creators, from established designers to young talents just entering the world of design. It is a space for exchanging experiences and inspiration, where tradition meets modernity.
