MCA 2018 – Montelupo Ceramic Award
Montelupo Ceramic Award (MCA) is a new international competition to produce a ceramic artifacts during an on-site residency close to Florence, Italy.
Montelupo Ceramic Award is aimed at young creatives – designers, artists, architects, students – under the age of 35, inviting them to develop a project to produce an object entirely made of ceramics. Included is an art residency featuring the valuable contributions of skilled craftsmen from Montelupo.
Participation to the award is open to individuals (singularly or in groups) with no limits of location or geographical origin, such as: professionals, design and applied arts students. Application is open from May 10th till September 10th 2018.
The award also includes a cash prize of 4000,00 euro for the three (3) winners.
The 2018 Montelupo Ceramic Award’s main theme is EVERYDAY OBJECT featured this year’s edition from June 15th to June 17th. (www.festaceramica.it).
